LincFam Back-to-School Playdate at the Blue Playground

Friday, September 18, 4:00–5:30 PM

Join us for an easy Friday afternoon playdate at the Blue Playground to celebrate the start of the school year. We’ll have free pizza, plenty of time for the kids to play, and a chance for parents and caregivers to catch up after the whirlwind of the first few weeks of school.

Come for the whole time or just swing by for a bit. Siblings are welcome, and new families are especially encouraged to join us.

LincFam Grown-Ups’ Night Out and

Live Music & Fire Pit!

It's the return of Grown-Ups’ Night Out — Fall Edition!

To kick off LincFam's fall programming, we're returning to the Havlak & Zembowicz residence for a fire pit and live music. We'll provide drinks, hot cider, snacks, and a live performance from Matt Grace and a special musical guest.

Whether you're a current LincFam member, interested in joining, or just want to connect with other local parents, this will be a fun and low key night to enjoy some grown-up conversation. In the event of rain, we'll still gather indoors — but here's to hoping we get a warmer night than last year!

Date: Thursday, September 24, 2026

Time: 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Location: The Havlak & Zembowicz Residence (address to be shared with RSVPs)

What’s Included:

A warm, crackling fire pit
A curated selection of hot cider, drinks, and snacks
Live music from soulful jazzy duo True, featuring Lincoln's own Matt Grace
Great conversation and community connection

Cost:
$10 per person for LincFam Members, $15 for non-members

Please RSVP by September 17th, 2026. Space is limited, so sign up early to save your spot!

This event is open to all adults, whether or not you're a LincFam member. We want everyone to feel welcome — if cost is a barrier, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

LincFam Monthly Meetup at the Tack Room

Wednesday, October 14 at 8:00 PM.

This fall, we’re trying something new with our monthly meetings. Instead of holding traditional board meetings, we’ll be hosting informal LincFam Meetups that are open to anyone who wants to learn more, share ideas, or get involved. No commitment and no board title required.

Grab a drink, meet other parents and caregivers, and help us think about what LincFam can do for Lincoln families this year. For our first meetup, we’ll share highlights from the community survey and talk about the ideas and priorities we heard from families across town.
